I have always liked films, ever since my early days at Saturday Morning pictures. I used to dream
of how nice it would be to have ones own projection room and a collection of films. Nowadays, with the
advent of DVDs and wide screen TVs, my dream has come true and I now have quite a collection.
I supplement this with rentals from Lovefilm.
I am always on the look out for new interesting films, so I regularly check their new releases lists.
I also subscribe to the Washington Post film reviews newsletter and watch Talking Movies each week.
So that I can keep a check of what films I have in my queue and where I found out about them, I have made a
list in HTML. I keep this on the network drive so I can access it from any machine on the network.
I also rate the films as I watch them, and when I get time I review them too. I used to keep this on
my website as well so that I could access it from anywhere. The film list/history is getting rather big
now, so I have had to limit it to just the reviewed films.
