Calendar Girls (2003)
Moving portrayal by John Alderton
The re-telling of the true story of the Yorkshire housewives who posed nude one year for their annual Women's Institute calendar. A very moving story and a typical well made British film.
There are some good performances in this film, but I would like to pick out John Alderton for an excellent portrayal. It was short, but made up for it in quality. Since his character was the motive for the Calendar it doesn't seem too bad to give him due credit.
